Too Much Sylvia has been entertaining audiences for 36+ years, with the same four guys — Rick, Steve, Eddy & Don — together since 2000.

With more than 4,000 performances from DC to the Caribbean, the band has built a loyal and growing following of friends and fans. Their signature red sunglasses have become a symbol of the fun, energy and connection that define a Too Much Sylvia show.

Their four-time CBMA Group of the Year honors, twelve #1 songs, six CBMA Songs of the Year and four Smoothies of the Year are part of a story that continues to grow.

The Four Guys

Their vocal blend and harmonies are a major part of the 2MS sound. Combine that with tight, tasteful arrangements and a presentation designed for both dancers and listeners.

Steve Long

Lead Vocals • Guitar

Steve is the primary lead vocalist and also plays guitar. He won the prestigious CBMA Male Vocalist of the Year honor in 2020 and 2023.

Eddy Howie

Bass • Vocals

Eddy handles bass and brings a naturally high singing voice to songs ranging from Jersey Boys favorites to Journey. He joined the Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame in November 2025.

Don Leonard

Drums

Don works the solid groove with Eddy, keeping the audience moving while adding the personality and feel that are part of every Too Much Sylvia show.

Rick Lee

Keyboards • Vocals

Rick is the keyboardist who occasionally steps out front to get the crowd involved. He has earned six Songwriter and five Producer of the Year awards from the CBMA and is a Hall of Fame member.
